Introduction

Several small, uninhabited cays are included in the territory, including Anguillita, Dog Island, Scrub and Little Scrub Islands, the Prickly Pear Cays, Seal Island, and Sandy Island. The furthest islet in the Anguillian archipelago, Sombrero, sits on its own long-isolated bank, lying mid-way between Anguilla and the Virgin Islands. The total area of the Anguillian archipelago is 35 sq mi (91 km2).
